Hello there and thank you for visiting our new look website, if you are an existing customer retuning to our website or are a potential new customer we would like to welcome you to the world of donkeyrides.co.uk. What ever your need we are here to help. Opening times for our shop and website

Our main retail outlet is based in the tourist area of Blackpool and is open on a seasonal basis. For those not familiar with Blackpool and its seasonal trade it runs from the Easter bank holiday around April until the end of the Illuminations in November, and we think well worth the visit! During this time the shop is open from 10.30am until 5.00pm and at Christmas time but closed for New Year. Out of season our store is only open weekends weather permitting from 11.00am until 3.30pm . If you are planning an out of season visit to our shop please contact us for conformation of opening times to avoid disappointment. About our credit card payment system and Pay Pal payment options

If you are paying by credit or debit card on our site we use a system from Barclays called E-PDQ, it’s just like using your chip & pin card in a shop only you are in control of your personal details. None of your card details are held on our site for your extra security and piece of mind. They are encrypted and stored by Barclaycard for your protection. We also use the Pay Pal system for order payments for your convenience, and because it is recognised as a safe and secure way of paying for goods over the internet. We are dedicated to your online financial safety, and to make your payment process and shopping experience as easy and efficient as possible, as are Barclaycard and Pay Pal, so we hope you enjoy visiting our site, safe in the knowledge that your shopping details are secure.

  1. Can I collect my order from your shop?
    No problem! We love to meet our online customers, and hope you enjoy your day out in Blackpool!
  2. How long will my order take to come?
    We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 24 hours and aim to get them to you within 5 working days or sooner, but things like busy times of year and high volumes of orders can affect this, a 48 hour delivery service for your order is available at an extra charge, if you need your order urgently, for more details please call the ORDER HOTLINE 01253 344478 for further information and availability.
  3. I can’t make my mind up between items can you help?
    Of course, we can send you extra pictures of a product to help you get a better idea of its dimensions, let you know what feed back other customers have given us, advise you if there are any new releases or alternatives, how rare or collectable it is, and give you the best value for money we possibly can!
  4. I don’t like communicating by e-mail what should I do?
    Please give our ORDER HOTLINE 01253 344478 or if you are near by why not pop in to our shop in Blackpool, for a fun day out! Alternatively send us your details and we can call you back at a prearranged time, for your convenience.
  5. How come your products are so much cheaper than other shops?
    We pride ourselves in offering our customers exceptional valve, and because we are based in a highly competitive market in Blackpool, and because a large numbers of tourists shop at our store we are able to buy large quantities of stock at the best prices! This discount is passed on to you the customer. And insures both our passing and online customers return year after year for great value gifts and presents!
  6. I am buying a present and would like to keep it a secret what can I do?
    That’s no problem! You can have your order sent to an alterative address when checking out of our shopping cart, as long as your billing address for the payment card matches the payment card details on your card statement or bill. This billing address is the first set of details filled in when checking out, and is checked automatically by our E-PDQ (our online credit card payment system from Barclaycard) when your payment is processed for you additional security and piece of mind!
  7. I am paying by credit card are my payment details safe?
    YES your personal details, security, and piece of mind are of the up most importance to us! And insuring your data protection is essential. That is why we do not store any of your credit card, debit card or payment details on our website. All your payment details and card numbers are stored by Barclaycard on our E-PDQ (our secure online credit card payment system) and encrypted for additional security. And if you are familiar with Pay Pal then you know this is a very safe and secure way of online banking as an alternative.
  8. If I need to can I cancel my order?
    We sincerely hope you don’t ever need to! But if you wish to do so please contact us as soon as you can, and we will cancel your order, and refund your cost of goods. Our orders are usually processed and dispatched within 24 hours of ordering except at busy times, so if you are able to contact us before dispatch we can refund the whole cost of your order including postal charges, for more detailed information on order cancelling please see our terms and conditions or please don’t hesitate to contact us, please not dispatched items can not be refunded before the have been returned to us
  9. Do I need to purchase additional insurance for my items in case they are lost or damaged during postage?
    You may if you wish, please contact us for further information and charges but most items are fully covered by standard postal insurances (up to £32 per item which can be extended if needed) unusual items and ones of high value may need additional insurance but you will be informed at the time of purchased . The claiming process can only take place after 15 days of dispatch and may take several weeks to complete, so please be prepared to process another order until the claim is investigated and a credit for the first order is issued. Unfortunately we can’t send out any unpaid replacements without investigation or notification of credit from the postal service for the original order.   10. I don’t use credit or debit cards can I pay by check?
    YES you can pay buy check when buying anything mail order, goods are not dispatched until the check has cleared this can take up to 10 working days, then you have to allow time for the check to arrive with us, then clear, then for your goods for arrive with you, so please take this in to consideration and allow time for this process when ordering. For security purposes we do not except checks in store for any immediate purchases made.   11. Can you post orders outside the U.K. and Europe
    Yes we are now able to ship to most destinations all over the world, but our websites stated delivery prices are for U.K. mainland only if you require delivery to addresses outside the U.K. please contact us at sales@donkeyrides.co.uk for delivery charges and times.
